jason noble benefit
hello, years ago we played a benefit show for jason noble along with endpoint, sunspring, and big wheel (all reuniting). the sets were recorded along with a slew of other shows for jason for a planned release. the physical format never came to fruition, but brian lueken who was working on it has put it all up on bandcamp here. listen to many solid tunes by solid humans who were huge fans of, friends of, and inspired by jason. we are on the third release in there.
15.05.18 w/ sam prekop @ zanzabar, live sounds, and summer midwest road trip
hi, i’m playing in mid-may with sam prekop (also of the sea and cake). he’s been doing some swell synthesizer explorations and will be touring to promote his most recent one. the show will be on may 18th at the zanzabar. facebook event here.

i’m excited to be playing a sweet record store day party for my pal jim’s shop astro black. it’s a daytime hangout. i’ll be either playing in astro black/fat rabbit or next door at kaiju. while record store day has been a bummer for independent labels, the spirit of celebrating a record store is still something i can appreciate. further, i’m optimistic that the city state tapes ‘plod & play, vol. 1’ release will be in hand for the show too.
